(1) In the following cases, a pension as per section 15 shall be given to a person whom the Chief Justice or a judge wishes from among his family members for the following period and in case of the death of such a wishful person or to the next of kin among his family members:- p>
(a) In case of death of the Chief Justice or Judge while in office, up to seven years from the date of death,
(b) In case of death before seven years of starting to receive pension according to section 15, up to the remaining period of seven years.
(2) If the Chief Justice or a judge dies while in office, he will not receive pension according to section 15 but he will receive gratuity, the amount of gratuity will be received by the person from among his family members as per sub-section (1).
(3) After the period of receiving family pension as per sub-section (1) has been paid, the chief justice or the widowed wife or widower of the judge will be entitled to receive half of such pension for the rest of his life. p>
